LIDAR Magazine, a Spatial Media publication, promotes the adoption of lidar and imaging technology. Managing Editor Dr. A. Stewart Walker oversees an expert team of contributors, bringing insights and commentary to readers via quarterly print editions, newsletters, a podcast program and more.

Since 2012, the magazine has addressed all aspects of lidar: including airborne topographic and bathymetric; terrestrial; mobile; close range; underwater and others, reaching a global audience of geomatics and engineering professionals.

Additional outreach efforts include the Lidar Leader Awards, developed in partnership with the organizers of the Geo Week conference. Hosted annually, this one-of-a-kind program recognizes excellence in lidar development and implementation.
